Or perhaps more accurate is, it had its foundations in lies. These so-called Weapons of Mass Destruction were merely a scare-tactic to change public opinion into thinking that this immoral, unjust war was actually right, even right in the eyes of God. Bush truly were laser-focused on their goal of ridding the world of what they perceived as a threat to their own unique, american identity. They reckoned that brute force was the only means by which to respond, since the 'islamists' (or more accurately an extremely small minority of members of the good muslim faith ) had used force in the first place.
